Childcare on Wednesdays

from 8.30am to 6.30pm - for ages 3/12

Theme for 2026-2027: The 5 senses and the Great Works

Starting in September 2026, our children will open their eyes, ears, hands, nose and taste buds for a year full of discoveries around the 5 senses!

Children from younger groups will embark on a sensory journey to discover the colors, scents and sounds of the world. Observing, listening, touching, smelling, tasting: so many experiences to explore their environment, awaken their curiosity and make room for imagination. Through dance, yoga, motor skills, singing, manual activities and English, they will discover that each sensation can become a way to take a new look at what surrounds them.

For the older children, the journey will take on another dimension: that of the Great Works. Paintings, sculptures, music and architecture will invite them to discover creations that have survived the centuries and to understand how artists have also sought to make people see, hear, feel and dream. Museum visits, an explorer’s notebook, a podcast and the creation of a musical show - in which the youngest will take part - will punctuate this journey. A year to observe and to set out to discover heritage, before giving free rein to their imagination to create together a collective work inspired by their discoveries.

Wednesday childcare in Boulogne with a meaningful imagination

Wednesday daycare takes on a new form, with a combination of living time and activity time, all geared to the child's development. The day begins with the introduction of the children to the group, the formation of teams, and a reminder of the rules of life. The children are then immediately immersed in the imaginary world of the period. The activities that follow - handicrafts, singing, drawing, theater - enable the children, divided into small groups according to their age, to explore the theme in all its facets, leading them to discover the sometimes surprising interactions between the different arts and the chosen imaginary!

Every Wednesday, children can also enjoy a sports activity that is part of a cycle.

Les Bons Enfants on Wednesdays: calm and attentiveness during the lunch break

Meals are served with the help of the children, who are mobilized to tidy up and serve. Two services are organized, the first with the younger children, while the older ones play or sing. When it's the older children's turn to eat, the younger ones are settled in for a nap or quiet time. Once the older children have finished eating, they are divided between board games and the library. This is more than just a Wednesday babysitting service, as the children are fully involved in the process. This rest time is fundamental. It helps to make Les Bons Enfants a more complete structure than a traditional day-care center, since during Wednesdays at Les Bons Enfants, we strive to satisfy all the child's essential needs.

Wednesdays at Boulogne aux Bons Enfants, nature and outdoor games are the order of the day!

Another essential need for children is to be outdoors. After naptime, only a snowstorm, a deluge or strong winds prevent us from at least taking a walk in the park. Most of the time, of course, we stay and play a big game. The kids are back for a snack.

A new approach to Wednesday childcare in Boulogne-Billancourt: learning while having fun!

After snack time, the children spread out into different areas: some play, others rest in the library area. During each period, children can also sign up for evening workshops: a craft workshop for younger children or a creative workshop for older children.

Parents arrive between 4:30 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. and pick up their children after a chat with Catherine, our director, if they wish.
